Having seen this review this morning from Farooq A., I was compelled to add my penny’s worth. Farooq's absolutely right. Franco is an excellent tailor and an excellent guy. He made a bespoke suit for me 3 year ago and it’s exquisite, the best suit I’ve ever owned. The fittings experience – the second and third visits to try the garment on for refined measurements and to give him feedback on the tailoring in progress – was very amusing and memorable. I was trying the jacket on, examining how it looked in the mirror, moving to face one way then the next to see the view from left and right angles (as you do) and I turned to him and said, “what do you think of the lapels?” He looked at me as though I was a buffoon. He subsequently grabbed my chin (lightly) with one hand and slapped me on the cheek (lightly) with the other, whilst remonstrating “No, no, no, no, no,… whattayou think of the lapels? WhattaYOUthink? It’sa yourra jacket, youa tella me!!” I just had to laugh. He was so right.
