I think I picked the wrong day to visit Space NK. I've been past this upmarket beauty store on many occasions but felt put off by its gorgeous staff and pristine environment. So when I eventually wandered in I was quite pleased with the assistance from the staff. It was a good balance of knowing when to leave you alone (browsing) or when to offer advice (testing). But unfortunately, as this was a rare make-up purchasing trip, I was very disappointed when 3 of the 5 products I wanted were out of stock. Just not good enough, so I went to Selfridges and found what I needed instead.
