There are a lot of flashier tapas bars in the world, and certainly in London. There are also ones with more spectacular food. But Tapas y Vino serves very satisfying creative food in unpretentious surroundings at decent prices, all of which get my attention. Also, given the limited range of options around Kew where most restaurants have a high doily factor for maximum appeal to elderly garden goers, Tapas y Vino is definitely the place to go for a good lunch or dinner after wandering the gardens.
