Okay, so my mate Deryck in the office rates this place pretty highly, and reckons he knows his steak.
I decided to follow up on the recommendation, and that of Time Out, to see what the fuss was all about. I've had some great steaks in my time, and this was indeed up there with the best of them. Not sure it quite matches Casa Paco in Madrid, but then again, the waitresses were more attractive than the middle aged men who served me in the Spanish capital :)
After a couple of Mojito's, we started with prawns and lobster tail, followed by the tenderised/ marinated steaks washed down with a fairly mediocre Malbec (my poor decision).
My girlfriend and I had a great time that night (againsta backdrop of a funky live band playing South American beats) although the next day an examination of my wallet revealed that I'd taken quite a hit.
The steaks are unsurpassed in London; don't go somewhere else and be disappointed.
