This is the place to go for Thai fine dining. Hidden away in the posh Halkin Hotel behind Hyde Park Corner, Nahm is a subdued and elegant affair - all muted colours and hushed tones. The food is amazing, and far away from the mass market Thai curries and Pad Thais we all know. This is pure "real" Thai. Although Australian, chef David Thompson has spent much time researching and resurrecting traditional Thai recipes, many lost over time. He has become such an expect, that even the Thai Government has asked to collaborate with him to help bring purity back to the cuisine.
The best way to appreciate Nahm is to go for the tasting menu - you may not recognize much of the food, but one bite and you'll be hooked.
