The films are enhanced by surround sound created by an advanced digital stereo system. Go to join the stars as they leap out of the giant screen. They also have wheelchair access and an induction loop for the hard of hearing. Drinks and light refreshments are served in the cafe on the ground floor.

Can't believe there aren't more reviews of the IMAX. I've been going for years and it's awesome. I watched a six film star wars marathon there once overnight (geek I know) and it was just incredable, even for normal size films, the screen, the scale of the cinema, and the sound are fantastic. IMAX scale films are just imense. Go. GO NOW!

Watching a film at the IMAX is a pretty awesome experience. The sheer size of the screen(apparently as high as five double decker buses)is really unbelievable, the first time I went there the audience actually started laughing when the film began because it just looked so immense.

The film selection too often focuses on kids in my opinion but they do occasionally show some classic films which don't neccesarily have any IMAX features but nevertheless are perfect for a screen like this (like last nights Blade Runner: Final Cut - which was nothing short of epic).

So far I have only ever managed to book a seat at the front and depending on the type of film you are watching it could take away from the experience, if its a fast paced film you might miss a lot of the action because your eyes can't move quick enough from one side of the screen to the other.

When I saw The Dark Knight here a few months back, it was without a doubt my greatest cinematic experience, so I really couldn't recommend this highly enough (they are reshowing it for a month starting this weekend Nov 16th!).

Plus its only a couple of quid more than watching a film in the West End.
