one of the worst eating experinces ive had tinned mushrooms, old lettuce, bad service overpriced, shame its a nice venue

What a find, this gaff has great yet simple design utilising lots of industrial fittings that because of the eye of the designer really set this place off. There are some grand photographs and pictures all by local artists. There are exceptional views across the Estuary and we witnessed the most amazing sunset of deep purples, reds, blues and a hint of green! The charismatic if tired propriator told me that these colours are due to polution from London...

Inside the bar they have a cash only policy, this meant i was reminded of how quick service used to be before chip n pin. Food was a high point, unbelievably cheap and spot on for the price. It consisited of tried and tested items, fish n chips, calamari, fish stew and the like.

The place is a converted derelict shelter on the promenade and has a big decking area where you can step down onto the beach.

I am going back to this place as soon as i can.
