Independent cafe could be better

Good location on Duke Street but not keen on sandwich filings in bowls on display or seeing my food made in front of me. Also, when I once asked ofor a grande Latte was asked did I mean large. This was meant as put down to the Americanisation of coffee bars. I used to own one myself so it doesn't really matter what you call it as long as it's good. This was just ok. Shame really cos I will also go to an independent over and above the ubiquitous Star**** or hideous Costa cos usually the staff have a buit more passion about their coffee.

Nice place with attractive staff

Very good place to stop for a quick bite to eat and a coffee. Very roomy, friendly staff (some quite good looking too I must say) and plenty of sockets to charge your lap top. The tea and coffee are reasonable but the snacks are a little expensive.
