Porcini

First time we have been here - met up with some friends and tried Porcini in West Dulwich and very pleasantly surprised. Not cheap but then we ordered their signature lobster spaghetti (just awesome) so we only have ourselves to blame there.

Mains range from £7 up to £19 so something for every pocket. Food is very well presented - waiting staff are attentive and pleasant and the wines are a nice selection of Italian that I had not tried before - all of which made for a very good evening. The only slight disappointment were the desserts, not the same high quality as the mains.

If you go for 3 courses with wine then it works out to around £40 per head but then if you don't go for a full lobster-fest (oops) then you can get a superb meal for substantially less than this.

Vibey, relaxed place. Great for a hook up with friends
