Yes, you actually can get a pre-paid card at The Sampler where you put a £ amount on it and taste away in their shop. The have about 50 wines to sample from all over the world. You insert your card into the machine, then get a glass, then hit the button for either a large or small “pour”. It deducts from your card. Then if you want to buy any of the wine’s you pay with your card. It’s easy and fun and great to be able to sample the wine you plan you buy. Nothing is worse than paying top dollar for a bottle of wine then getting it home to realize it sucks.

The staff are really knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly. It’s an experience to go there even if you just want to taste.
