Crystals, fairies and hot chocolate

I popped into Papaya when visiting Hereford for a holiday, It is like a Doctor Who's Tardis it goes on and on and up and up. A lovely shop full of fair trade gifts and indian, buddist and pagan items and clothes. The crystal and rune selection is second to none I have found any where else. The staff are lovely giving out that chilled vibe that nothing was too much trouble, they could orer it in for you if they were able. Their knowledge on every item in the shop and where it came from was brill. We meet their in house Tarot Reader and Medium Lady Eleanor who was so spot on for my husband he has tried back to see her many times. I think the best bit of Papaya is the secret garden out the back in the marquee which looks like it belongs in some desert oasis with the flowing fabric and lanterns and gardens had birds and fairies dotted around. When in the garden you would never believe that you were less than a minute from the centre of Hereford City. They do some food but where happy for us to eat our sandwichs while having a lush handmade hot chocolate. When we were there last they were building a Tea room beyond the secret garden for those wanting to sit inside.
