Teriyaki Tuesday

This is what I want to be having for lunch today, I'm not, I'm having a crappy homemade tuna salad, but if I could I would pop down to Taro have the Chicken Teriyaki Don and Asahi beer and be back at my desk by 2pm.
I love this place, the interior is cheap and cheerful and they pack you in, but I always think that a busy restaurant is a sign of some good food. I always mean to try their sushi which you can watch them prepare while sitting up at the bar, but the lure of Teriyaki is normally too great.
And Mr. Taro, whose face adorns their menus, is always sat at the cash register doling out your takeaway.
It's a great place for lunch, or dinner, or even a late night meal after drinking at the pub next door (they very kindly let me and my mate in as they were closing as long as we were well behaved and ate quick - obviously I had no problem obliging!)
