Did no-one just see the program on bbc three???'Skin deep, the buisness of beauty' the chick had the worst 'tattoo' on her hand ever..she got it done here and they went in and secretly filmed inside the shop...I don't know who would trust this place, the dude the spoke to looked more like he owned a fishing bait shop and everyone in there appears to be a clueless fucking scratcher...the world don't need no more of them, they all wanna get back to drinking special brew and living on the dole, IF YOU CANT TATTOO, DON'T!!!!Its amazing, half these people you wouldnt ever see actually sat drawing anything, but because its 'cool' to tattoo, suddenly everyone convinces themselves they too can do it.No wonder their site says 'under construction' lol hope it gets torn down before they ruin anyone elses bodies...couldn't also help but notice how the tattooist maturely got involved on here AND can't even spell!!Well, that's reassuring...mug!!GOOD TATTOOS AREN'T CHEAP AND CHEAP TATTOOS AREN'T GOOD.

Lewis recently did my tattoo on my back and it is absoloutly fantastic it is better then i could ever of imagined the art work and shading is out of this world and people often stop me and comment on it Thanks lewis and i always point people in ur direction

i have had 3 tattoo's from here. although one have faded, not very much but i know it has. my other 2 are brilliant :) im going to get my 4 one in a few weeks :D from body art i realie think there are great.x

Went here for my 1st tattoo although been advised against it.. my mum went for her 1st tattoo a couple of weeks ago and hers was brill so thought why not. went in busy saturday morning showed them what i wanted and 10mins later i was in there getting my 1st ever tattoo... it hurt... i am a whimp though. got it on top of my back love it.. healed up nicely within a fewdays and it couldnt be better.. think my tattooist was called Tim but that could of been the guy that served me?!? anyway was nice guy even when i stood up after the half hour and nearly fell over and trashed the place from numb legs!! will go back!!

Lewis is in the process of completing a large side piece (Buddha's Head n’ butterflies) for me it’s the best art I have under my skin. It’s been a joint effort between customer and artists...nice one chap, get a picture of it on here soon.

hi I had a side tattoo done by lewis and he was great, the tattoo was the best iv had so far, I will going back to him for my next one. and I have told all my friends to go to him for a there tattoos

To All Who Read this review the Tattoo is now gone thankfully. After talking to Ronnie Starr who recommended a full sleave to cover up the mess both a previous heart Tattoo and the thing we talked to a local talented tattoo artist and he went through what he would do to fix the badly done tattoo and also to rework my wifes heart tattoo. After agreeing to the work my wife now has the tattoo she wanted and also a bonus of the heart tattoo reworked. So as everyone knows any tattooist can have a bad day and when a 9 yr old child spots faults on a tattoo and also a previous employer of the guy who did the work spotted faults there must be something wrong with it. To all who go on this site I would strongly recommend Tony down Well Lane in Beverley that is where we go for all our tattoo's now much cheaper and very good skilled work you get what you ask for.

My wife went into Body Art of Hull hoping for a Tattoist called Pete who had done a great Tiger for her before. Unfortunately he wasn't there but because she made the mistake of trusting the establishment she went with a guy called Lewis (BIG MISTAKE). She couldn't get the design she wanted so had to settle for a design she had wanted previously. Well she wanted it coloured in but Lewis refused and said no he is going to shade it (My wife's second mistake). She belived he knew what he was on about and decided to go ahead even though she hates shaded in tattoo's. Well after the tattoo was done she barely had chance to look at it when without asking my wife's permission he took a photo of the thing he just created which was nothing like the design, now my wife feels violated as she feels the same as me only close family friends or family should be taking her photo. Also the moment she had a good chance to look at the tattoo after cleaning it up we all spotted the thing my wife had been tattoed on her arm. She is now very depressed and refuses to show her tattoo's off she also has talked about tattoo removal and also we are now looking into having the worked fixed by a competant tattoo artist.
