My husband bought me vouchers for the retreat in south woodford for mybirthday in may as he usually does, the week commencing the 23rd of august I rang to make an appoiment for a facial and a manicure for that week, I rang and left a message and it took someone almost 3 hours to return my call, I explained what I wanted and that I could make any evening that week or the saturday, I was told I should have booked 4 weeks in advance and would I like to book for 4 weeks time, I was gobsmacked as I thought I was giving alot of notice, I refused and said I wanted my treatment when I wanted not when they were able to do it. I was speaking to the owner so asked for a refund on my vouchers to which her reply was I dont want a customer like you, someone obviously need to attend a customer care course. She was very rude, I work with the public and I would not speak to anyone in that manner. The owner should be careful how she treats customers, her business may not last too long, especially as there are several beauty places in the area and a lot better than the retreat.
