It used to be good...

1.0 out of 5.0

I have been a member since it opened yet have just cancelled my membership. The gym is getting tired with machines frequently out of use or broken. Staff no longer care about the members and rates have been put up bu over 35% in that last year alone! I would avoid this gym, there are plenty others in the surrounding area who provide a much better and cleaner work out environment...

Gym Rats!

3.0 out of 5.0

Ok, I'm usually not the 7am to the gym kinda gal, but I was coerced. It can't be that bad, I mean it does have a Fresh & Wild in-situ...Overall the vibe is a bit too warehouse meets translucent, but the class I attended allowed it to save face a bit. Joel-Spin-7:30am- Thursday. The class was filled with normal working people repenting for the binge eating and drinking that occurred the night before- neon spandex in short supply. The music was Pacific Northwest Indie Rock meets Mild House. And the best part, the instructor was struggling just as much as the class! No yelling, just mellow riding.

Work, Home and The Third Space

4.0 out of 5.0

I love The Third Space, and have been a member since it opened about 6 years ago. It's spread out over 4 levels, with a pool and studio on the lower-groud, a free weights area and martial arts dojo, machines and stretching area on the ground floor and all cardio equipment on the top floor. There is a climbing wall, and the gym gets a lot of natural light from its glass roof (there is also a brilliant glass floor in the main machines level, from which you can see the pool and walk above it -- quite an experience!!)

The men's showers need a little makeover, but it doesn't ruin the experience of the place. (However, the membership fees would make you expect the best showers! :-)

Feel The Burn (in your wallet)

4.0 out of 5.0

I love Third Space and have used it numerous times either on guest passes or at the invite of the gym. I think the climbing wall is fantastic and the pool is really nice (although not long enough for serious swimmers) but no matter how much I like it I can't justify the annual dues; they have got to be some of the most expensive in the city. My annual Cannons membership is about quarter the price and okay they don't have a low oxygen room but they do do spinning five times a week. Maybe if I get that bonus...

Great Gym!

I love this gym. I won't go anywhere else. They have the best classes (I mostly do yoga) and I like the fact that they have a DJ spinning on some nights. You also get a big white towel as part of your membership and they supply the shower products. Their pool doesn't use harsh chemicals either.
