I really want to love Tinderbox, they seem to want to project everything that I want a coffee shop to project, yet I can't help think its not quite right. I get the impression they cut corners a bit, everything looks bought in - yep I can see there isn't much kitchen space, but everyone can make a little effort. Where they seem to want to excel and build their reputation is the coffee, but for me its always been hit and miss. This place has definately improved over the years, and its certainly popular. But I never get anything off the staff, and sometimes I feel I may as well be in a Starbucks. I will keep going back though.. just not sure why?
