Awful work, terrible service

I dealt with Jody Cory on a very important commissioned piece of jewellery. The resulting piece was very poorly finished and when trying to communicate the issues with the piece, Jody was extremely unprofessional, taking everything personally, not addressing our issues with the piece and replying with how upset the situation was making her - which we were shocked with considering how nice and diplomatic we were being about it. She communicated poorly and disregarded our questions, even ignoring them when we went back and asked her to address the questions that she had previously refused to answer. She wasted hundreds of pounds of our money. Most worryingly, she clearly has a very bad eye for detail in her own work. I wish I had never come across her and she made what should have been a very happy and special time of my life very upsetting and stressful.

Had a pendant made for me by Jody Cory herself. Such an unprofessional woman who doesn't have the skills for such work. Not happy to give her 1 star but I had to choose at least one.

We wanted an original modern design using old family heirlooms as the raw materials so memories could be kept alive. Jody and her young team worked wonders and surpassed our expectations, now regular customer for everything jewelry because of the reliable and first rate service.

Having finally received a commissioned ring from this company (a 2 month wait) I have worn it for 30mins - in which time I've sat down and used the computer - and it is already falling to bits. £150.00 worth of work which albeit very beautiful, is shoddy craftsmanship, not hallmarked, and very late arriving.

I plan to take the ring to Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter in the hope of finding a genuine silversmith to repair my ring to a standard that I can wear it day to day without risk of damage.
