A student pub through and through!

This is the main student pub for the Canterbury Christ Church University students with the main student housing just down the road.

The drinks are relativly cheap (especially if you have a yellow card) and the food is average with a massive range of burgers.

They have a varirty of lagers on tap, but many of them are off from time to time.

Thursdays is £1.00 a pint night (usually packed).

The pub features a beer garden with covered seating, patio heaters and a small optics and bottle bar some evenings with the occasional BBQ serving bacon sandwiches and burgers.

The interior is starting to show it's age, the toilets are in need of a propper seeing to and the whole place just doesnt seem that...clean, although there are no hygiene concerns, just an air of delapidation and a long needed spring clean.

The staff are friendly although some are a little bit up-themselves which puts some people off going.

It's a good/cheap night out, but with some tender love and care, maybe a lick of paint, and then it would start to rival other haunts.
