We came to the O2 for the Tutankhamun exhibition courtesy of a National Express Rail prize draw. As it was just a few days before my husband's birthday I wanted to treat my husband to a really good lunch. We chose the INC Brasserie because everything on the menu looked good. My husband had the Steak Hache with French Fries and a good sized ramekin of mayonnaise, while I had the Goujons of Fish and Chips. Hubby happily tucked into his and there wasn't a scrap left on his plate. I was in raptures with my fish; 3 long, chunky strips of flaky white cod in a crispy beer batter that was as light as air, set off by homemade tartar sauce. It was the best fish and chips I've ever tasted - the little skinny french fries were fried to a golden perfection. We also had a bottle of the house red, a cabernet sauvignon. I've told more people about the food than about King Tut! We decided to indulge in puddings and coffee. I had a divine vanilla creme brullee and hubby had the most unusual banana split I've ever seen. We topped that off with a cappucino and a latte and didn't need anything to eat for the rest of the day.
I'd recomment this restaurant to anyone visiting the O2 arena, and would personally go back just for the food. The total cost was £56.93 inc service, and it was worth every penny.
