i am a student who recently moved onto the gloucester rd area of bristol, where aparantly gloucester rd is famous for its host of idependant traders.... as a hungry student i have scoured the area looking for the best chinese takeaway. There are a few around in which i did nt like to much , ( well they were ok ) what i mean by ok? is that after you have tried the cuisine at hot wok xpress u wont try anything else as you have a real assurance nothing dodgy is going on with your food as you can see every thing being cooked in front of you literally ! this is a big plus for me ( obviously the food taste fresh and flavoursome as well)the place is rated for 5 star. we order a delivery sometimes in which the delivery service is usaully very quick and friendly however sometimes on weekends it could take a little longer as they get ridiculously busy i guess.. but i prefer picking up as i like the atmosphere and watching my food being cooked..

overall the place is excellent you really have to try it!
