Horror story - don't trust them

The equipment is average and the size small but not too crammed. My horror story relates to stolen stuff. I rented a locker there, and two months after had it broken into when the staff "accidentally" clipped the lock. Three months after they did a refurb, and all my exercise gear went missing. Their lost property list was five pages and this had apparently happened to everyone. The only excuses they had is "A lot of things happened during the refurb" and "it was really out of our control". HTF is dozens of people having their gym equipment STOLEN from your gym "out of your control"? This was in March 10. Staff offered more months of locker hire in compensation, which I would obviously have to continue my membership to take advantage of. I declined. They said they would be in contact but havent. Also, when I joined they offered a "student membership, 50% off standard rate", but this was a lie, as the standard membership prices are nowhere near £70 per month.

Overall, the location is great, the gym average, but just dont leave your items even in a padlocked locker and dont trust their "special offers". Staff dont feel very trustworthy.
