I definitely agree with RZh, this is a top London boozer. It's a cosy little no-nonsense pub. While it can get quite packed, it never gets packed in the way that other pubs and bars do, I've always found somewhere to perch or stand comfortably.

Plus, I don't think I've ever been chucked out at closing, so it can dangerous if you aren't keeping your eye on the clock; suddenly it will be one and you'll be really, really drunk.

PS. although it says you can watch sport in here I can;t think of a TV screen

Priceless East End boozer

You can't rate the Pride high enough. Hidden away from the drunken 18-year-old emo crowd that patrols Brick Lane, this cockney bastion in the heart of Bangla town serves Real Ale with attitude. The crowd is full of surprises, the music selection is fantastic, and the Sunday roast, at 5 pounds, is the best deal this side of Acton Town. Enjoy!
