Kick back!

5.0 out of 5.0

August 20, 2010

If your looking for a bar that you can entertain yourself in as well as eat good food, and drink weird beers from around the world...then Kick is the one for you! Obviously they've got loads of table-football, but they've got lots of board games too. Playing scrabble and eating a hearty Brazilian stew, and drinking red wine is a great way to pass the time on rainy days! Watching live football here is an experience! It gets absolutely ram-packed so if you don't like crowds don't go for the big matches! But if you love a good atmosphere then grab a flag and get stuck in!!

But this is a great bar! A bit hectic when the footie's on, but if you're a single woman this will be your wet dream.

Food is A+ - very well priced and delicious. Took some fussy vegetarian friends of mine here and we all had a ball! I would recommend the Goats Cheese salad especially.

It is a wonderful place to come with some friends and your boyfriend - mine entertained himself for hours on the fussball tables and I got to have a good chat with my friend.

Fussball Anyone?

Well, the official description above is a bit inadequate. There are loads of fussball tables upstairs and down as well as TV's scattered among the leather loungers. Like Juno, a few doors down the clientele contains a large sampling of continental types. The atmosphere is usually really chilled although it gets a bit rammed when the football is on - I caught a few of the Euro Cup games here - but still very enjoyable. Hard to decide if the if the Swedish girls were hotter than the Spanish ones! Hmmmm... Like the food, they were really tasty!
