I am a little partial to this place. As soon as you enter, you're reminded of Grease. There are little jukeboxes around the counters, so you can choose what you want to hear from a number of old time favourites, such as Elvis Prestley (now, who doesnt love a bit of Elvis?!), Wayne Fontana, The Supremes, The Troggs....the list really does go on. All that for the grand total of 20p!!
The food here is great, although not really much to choose from. I usually stick to my hotdog (made from 100% beef!!) and french fries. You could also choose to have some chilli con carne or a burger, very much what you would expect a 1950s style diner to offer. And the staff are fabulous; they really do look after you!!
One thing that I find so cool about this place is the toilets!! Yo Sushi (which is next door) shares the same toilets, so its a secret way of going in there. You could have fun with that....as in if you decide you dont want sushi and you want burger and you dont want to be rude and you still have not ordered, you can just excuse yourself and "go to the toilet", otherwise known as Narnia to Ed's!!
In all seriousness, this is a great place to go to eat. Great service, great food! You're going to want to come back to this place!!
