Middle Eastern street cafe
February 12, 2009
on a nice small street along St. Christopher's Place is a Lebanese place with the fresh, tasty food. Sitting there, you experience the familial atmosphere reminiscent of any little food place in the Middle East. Very friendly staff, what seems like lots of regulars, and men sitting enjoying the coffee watching people pass by.
The food is fresh and very good; the prices are reasonable; the setting is simple with the cafe style atmosphere of both the street and the establishment itself, they always have the outdoor heaters so as long as the weather allows it - sitting outside is an option, and it being filled with Middle Easterners a lot of the time gives it the authentic feel that's like the punctuation to the whole spot!
Its nice to sit and watch the cafe regulars be so comfortable in their spot, smoking their sheesha (hubbly bubbly); it's like a fusion paris cafe / middle eastern vibe that is cozy and yummy.
