You can't go wrong with the Tim Bobbin - I work near there so I often go there for lunch. There is a bar at the front and a restaurant in the back, as well as a small outside space with tables.
The food is always good, with a decent selection and reasonably priced. The staff are a kind of urban-chic friendly.
It feels like it's only in the last few years crossed over from being an old man's boozer to more of a cooler hang out, and as a result is comfortable without being pretentious.

Nuff said really...get thee down there on a Sunday (well actually book in advance first) and have the finest roast beef in SW London. The rest of the menu looks fab too, but I never seem to make it past the roast! Friendly service and lovely little garden too

I love the Tim Bobbin, it's one of my favourite pubs in Clapham. Off the beaten track, it's somewhere where you can have a lovely glass of wine at a quiet table - and you can usually manage to find a seat when other bars are rammed full.
It's got a nice atmosphere with dogs falling asleep in the main bar area and serves really good food. A great local.
