The City's Hidden Stage

Wilton's Music Hall bills itself as the last surviving and world's oldest grand music hall. Just one look inside the magnificent old hall is enough to convince you that this is the truth. While they are currently trying to raise money for much needed restoration work through donations, concerts, and other events, the crumbling decay of the building largely adds to its charm, much in the way that the ragged look of the Old Vic seems to enhance to its authenticity.
Because of the atmospheric olde-tyme look, Wilton's has been used as a location in numerous films. "Interview With a Vampire" (also known as 2 hours of my life that I wish I had back) was filmed here in part, as were "The Crays", "Chaplin", "The Importance of Being Earnest" and at least one Annie Lennox video. Despite the charm of the place and the great performance and lecture schedule they have, most Londoners have probably never even heard of it. I lived around the corner from it and walked right by it without ever even seeing it - it is truly a hidden gem. If you don't go for a concert or lecture, at least go take a look during an open house or tour.
