A Cooks store... and a school

As a budding cook who loves to try new things, including all sorts of new gadgets, I am a kid in a candy store when I go to Divertimenti.

They always have the best quality cookery items such as the SKK cookware (a must for those who spend a lot of time in the kitchen and only want to buy one set in their lifetime)and every kind of knife. They have beautiful plates and bowls and cloth napkins too.

But the best thing about Divertimenti are their cooking classes. I have attended several of them and my favourite has to be the Knife Skills Masterclass. I now know how to bone a chicken and fish; dice vegies; and cut the perfect onion; and of course, how to care for my knives.

I also have enjoyed their summertime lunchtime sessions where they teach you how to make simple dishes such as summer salads and then the class gets to eat them.

If you want to impress a group of friends or clients or have a team morale event, hire out a cooking class and have a unique bonding experience as you sip wine and learn to make pasta! A real treat!
