Lovely decor lovely cafe

4.0 out of 5.0

April 02, 2009

I stumbled into Tom's on a rainy day, and was immediately taken in by the colourful, cheerful, very eclectic decor. It's very artistic, full of nice frames and paintings. And the food on display only adds to the charm - yummy-looking cupcakes and cakes with icing, multi-coloured sweets and so on. We had to wait a few minutes for a table, but I then went on to eat a rather sumptuous pie, and a cupcake. Service is pleasant and reasonably prompt, and there's a nice buzz to the place. It isn't particularly cheap, but for Notting Hill and the decor, that's to be expected. Fully recommended.
