beautiful setting

Look - you don't come here for the great selection of beer, the food or the service. The interior is reminiscent of an airport cafe but step outside underneath the mammoth Waterloo bridge and this is where the action is.
There are two rows of tables and benches that can hold around 60 people - its right under the bridge so you can sit here even when its raining. There's a constant stream of people walking past so good for people watching. There are often street entertainers which vary from the annoying to the less intrusive and best of all there's the second hand book stalls so if you're friend is late you can peruse the hundreds of books on offer.
My Tip - when it gets busy at the bar people tend to form a queue as if they were purchasing a ticket or a coffee so aim for the right hand end of the bar and you'll get served instantly.
