Just Awesome

To me the mark of a good bookshop, and I think the same goes for record shops, is that you should always walk out with something that you've never heard of before, or considered that you like.

The ICA bookshop is like this, I guess its all about curation, people that actually care about what they're selling. The wall of books opposite the till is always amazing, I have to stop myself dropping in here as I'll always see a book that I've never heard of, pick it up, read the back and realise that my life will be complete if I just buy this one, and the one next to it, and maybe that cute german art fanzine, and a button, and maybe some postcards.

The books vary widely from standard art books, books about feminism in film, psychology books but the ones I like are things like 'A complete history of walking' or hmmm I can't think, but thats the point, you've never heard of the books before but they're always always awesome - seriously if you like books you HAVE to go there.
