ICA Bar & Cafe London Reviews

Great music venue - The ICA, in my humble opinion, is one of the most wonderful multi purpose places in London. The bookshop is awesome, the gallery is great and even the cinema has a certain charm to it. But as with everything, all roads lead to the bar.

Its on two levels, the actual bar being on the upper level. They have DJs several nights a week and sometimes live bands however the best place for the bands is in the theatre room behind the bar.

Being the Institute Of Contemporary Arts the music programming is cutting edge often to the point of obscure but not always. I've seen some great bands perform here and the theatre space is a great size - holding about 300 people. Be sure to check the wesbite as the style of music can vary widely.
