Christmas Eve, burst pipe in outside toilet, no major issue except that the stop cock under the sink failed to turn off the water ! Water gushing out and almost freezing as it ran over the ground, and after five attempts to acquire a plumber via the phone book, all claiming 24 hour service, between 30 and 60 minutes to attend, no call out fees etc, the best response was Monday is the earliest, to 'Not interested, call Seven Trent. They went into my book for future comment and networking, make no mistake.
Then, my wife found Alpha via the internet, a local company from Tollerton. I called and was given a mobile number to contact; Paul. They were close to our house, and 5 minutes later, it is true, they arrived.
Leak cured, new stop cock valve fitted and within 40 minutes they were on their way home.
Polite, friendly, professional and very reasonable rates. They have to represent what is the very best amomngst all others in this industry. You made our day and restored our faith in human nature. Many thanks once again.
