Sweaty. Naked. Scrubbed.

That was my first experience here. I take a client before Christmas here for a pedicure and because it’s our first visit, they offer us the salt scrub in the jasmine steam room. Great I think. We get there and each of us goes off to our separate rooms to get undressed and put on the disposable undies (like they hide anything) and a robe and are escorted by the friendly ladies to the steam room. Together we are pretty much naked and the girls are scrubbing us down. Kind of like a more luxurious Turkish Bath. They then leave us to finish applying the salt scrub to ourselves. Luckily we were both cool about it and not shy about our bodies (yes, I do go into my gym steam room naked) but I could imagine it to be somewhat uncomfortable if I was with someone else. Then we each sit in our “thrown” and they tell us when to turn the water on that will drench us from above with coolness to remove some of the salt. Then a proper shower on our own.

Probably best if they were to warn us about the steam room.

The pedicures were great. We were in our own room laying down as if we’re getting a facial. Very relaxing and they did a perfect job.

I have a gripe with the place though. There’s one woman that isn’t friendly – or maybe she was having a bad day – but when asked if they could call me a taxi b/c I was in flip flops and it’s was December 15th, they wouldn’t and said I needed to just hail one. That’s not customers service to me considering I just paid £85 per person for our treatments.

I’ve been back since for a Decelor facial and massage and both were spectacular. I’ve never experienced a facial where they put an oatmeal type mask on you but everything is covered except your nose. If you’re a mouth breather, forget it.

Oh, and this place is a day spa so can accomdate a large group.
