You get what you pay for...

I'm really still in two minds about this gym. I guess I was spoilt by having been a member of the Third Space before I came here alas an office move meant that the location of my old gym is just to convenient anymore *sob*. However, I still think this place could do a lot better on things like customer service and lessons. I attended a spin class for the first time the other week, and the instructor hardly bothered to show me how to setup the bike correctly, leaving me with a sore back for 2 days. The pool is tiny and reeks of chlorine, not to mention there seem to be a lot of strange men just lounging around for hours - in the sauna, in the jacuzzi, on the loungers - It’s not really a spa setting. Hardly makes for an inspiring workout. The gym is perfectly functional, and I have no gripes about it - although best to go during the off peak times when you don't feel glared at by people on the sidelines waiting for the machines. Limited shower toiletries, and bring your own towel unless you are under 3ft tall. Additionally, they promised a £50 voucher for referring a friend - which is something I am still chasing, six months on. I know it’s cheap and basic, but it also feels like none of the staff are really bothered about any of their customers.
