Great news for Bento fans. I hear they also do home delivery - has anyone already tried it?

The owners have also opened a take-away only Bento Cafe on Kingsway (near Holborn tube), so if you're lucky enough to work nearby, you can have it for lunch and dinner!

Why wasn't I told before?!

We were here Saturday night, and it was really good. It was packed out and people waiting all the time that we were there. Make sure you book.

My staple katsu curry was authentic and tasty, miso black cod, chicken udon noodles, sushi and sashimi. Service was professional and efficient especially given the buzz and hectic comings and goings

We also saw a lot of people there that we knew, quite a discerning crowd of Japanese food fans. My only question, why has no one taken me here before - maybe I should be looking on Tipped more!

Absolutely the best Japanese in London. Choose from fresh sashimi, sushi in every variety you could ask for, and brilliant Bento boxes for around £12 with the best selections of meat ever. I've been here about 16 times now and have loved it everytime. Average price is about £35 for 2 people with drinks, and the plum wine is also really really good.

But the thing that really sells this place? The best prawn tempura outside of Japan. Make sure you try it!
