The Last Anchor is situated right on the docks in Ipswich. There are tables outside on a decking area which are great in the summer time for lunch or early evening. The restaurant is the opposite of the docks to the majority of the other eating establishments so can be difficult to find - but is worth looking for.

The food is really good, with a wide range of choice from seafood to steak. They also serve breakfast at the weekend although I thought this was over priced when I went.

The only drawback is the service, it can be very slow. If you want a long leisurely evening then this is the place for you!
