I had an Elemis facial and manicure here and it was wonderful. The therapists are friendly whilst not pushy and really professional. When I arrived I sat and read some magazines for a few minutes then I was lead to the downstairs treatment room that was really relaxing with candles and oils burning. The facial was one of the best I have ever had - I'll be back!

No, not my flat this time, but the wonderful delights of Pacifica Day Spa, and Dominique's amazing massage skills. From the outside it looks like a tiny shop-front salon, but once inside, you enter a world of heavenly tranquility. I was offered green tea and sat in a warm cosy room on my arrival. After a calming 10 minutes or so, I was led to the beauty rooms downstairs for my 1 hour body massage - heaven! So many day spas don't give you a real sense of relaxing, but Pacifica was an exception, a real treat - and an absolute bargain!
