Hidden Gem in Notting Hill

This unassuming place is located just off Notting Hill Gate. Officially it's an Italian restaurant and you'd have a hard time finding more dishes that involve stuffing ingredients into pasta. The menu is the traditional Antipasti/Primi/Secondi setup and is absolutely delicious. On my visit they had Foie gras stuffed parcels of pasta as a special - whilst not traditionally Italian it was amazing.

The restaurant itself is long and thin - hence the 'Ark' in the name. Inside it feels very intimate with soft lighting and sophisticated decor. Although I've often gone with a group, The Ark is the perfect place for a date. The service is excellent and they have some nice wines at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.
