Surprisingly tasty home-cooking. - A little gem despite looking like your average fly-by-night kebab shop. Has all the hallmarks of a genuine family-run establishment: The exterior and interior don't do justice to the home-cooking quality of the food. The complimentary meze dip (tomato and chili) was an immediate hit. I'd come just for that and a beer even if I wasn't hungry. The fact that I ordered falafel and it took a good 15-20 minutes for them to come to the table is a good sign - they prepare food from scratch and do not cut corners. One day they'll have queues.

Fantastic food, excellent value. - I'm not sure what the other 'sour' reviewer here is up to. I can only guess he has another restaurant in competition with Pera and is trying to discredit them.

I took the family and friends to Pera this weekend and what a fantastic meal they provided. The food was simply superb and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The meal was very reasonably priced as were the drinks and I can't wait to find an excuse to go back. The kids had a lovely time and it's the first restaurant in ages where they have all loved the food (to the point of bursting). Thank you very much Pera, we will be back soon.
