Lazarides gallery is the primary source of work from artists Banksy, Jamie Hewlett, Antony Micallef, Faile, Stanley Donwood, Mode 2, Paul Insect, Kelsey Brookes, Polly Morgan, Conor Harrington, Invader, Tony Gray, Ben Turnbull and Mark Jenkins.

Our artists defy simple categories like 'graffiti', 'graphics' or 'pop art' two of them are accomplished taxidermists after all. In the gallery, we use the phrase 'cult art' to describe our collection of contemporary pieces from artists that, despite their credentials, the established galleries continue to ignore.

This is a really cool gallery, I mean its not pretentious cool, more soho hipster cool which I guess is a bit like shoreditch hipster cool but with baggier jeans and a nu-era cap - zeitgeisty perhaps? Yeah its definitely zeitgesity in an art sense - people worship Banksy and all who ride his coat tails and those who ride his coat tails often appear here.

Whatever, its a really cool little gallery that features the upper echelons of the graffiti or street art turned gallery art brigade - people like Faile, the Space Invader guy, Paul Insect and such. I've loved pretty much every exhibition I've seen here - except for one that was really lame grafitti stuff - very 90's and not at all appropriate.

Its really small, like someones nan's front room, but with exposed brick - there's a rickety staircase at the back of the room that leads to another small gallery space downstairs.
