Clissold Park is a popular community park located in Stoke Newington within the London Borough of Hackney. Facilities include a children's playground, big fields, a cafe and some animal attractions including terrapins in its lakes. It also hosts remains of the New River.

Sun is shining,the weather is sweet - When I was in my early teens, I begged my parents to let me go to Polish Woodstock Festival. They were inflexible and kept on telling that as soon as I was 'mature', I could do everything I wanted...It looks that I'm already grown-up but I don't feel like participating in mass events anymore. Anyway, my friends convinced me to go with them to Stokefest Music Festival at Clissold Park last Sunday. I forced myself... and I don't regeret.
As a Polish peasant I simply don't like overcrowded spaces- but this time, I really enjoyed the crowd and made lots of friends with amazing people. There were different kinds of music (especially reggae, dub, electro and global underground), great food and beautiful weather! It was really inspiring event although there were some problems to get there. Presumably, organizers didn't expect so many people- nevertheless, the space was still perfectly organised for disabled which is a big advantage. 'The smell of Jamaica' was raising over Stokefest all the time! Maybe it made people so happy and peaceful? Visit it next year to find out.
