Plantation first opened its doors in December 2003. It was the perfect opportunity to provide Bristol with a food that many had never seen nor eaten before. The restaurant attracts a wide range of customers - from families who are eager to discover what Caribbean cuisine tastes like, or looking to re-live experiences that they have previously had in the tropics, to Caribbean customers themselves searching for that authentic "home-cooked" taste.

Short on atmosphere.
Very clean restaurant with pleasant staff.
Food: Watch your blood pressure as the food contains a lot of salt.
Average choice of main course dishes but my favourite "deserts" are not up to much - Sorry!
Owner does not like feed back.
Average experience having travelled a distance to get their.
