Picture the rock and roll years in the states - the boys cruising in their Chevys and Buicks, taking their dates to the diner for a thick shake and fries. Ok Diner gives you the whole 50s experience - the authentic diner setting, the music, the grill menu cooked to order just how you like it and warm welcome.

This place is a fab place to stop if you are on a long journey, or even to make a special trip to taste the great food.
We had really good service here. We needed to eat outside because my baby was asleep in the car. They don't normally do outdoor eating, but they fixed us our meals on plates, and even brought them out to where we were sat on the grass with a smile.
The burgers are excellent and obviously not mass produced garbage. I didn't have a shake, but they looked amazing - you get a glass full, plus an aluminium tumbler full on the side to top it up!
We have decided to take the A1 instead of the M1 in the future, just so that we can stop here.
Popular with bikers (they are friendly, don't let it put you off going) and great music too - rock 'n' roll.
