Awesome!

I have not been to Il Punto for a number of years, as the service had gone downhill. I was very interested to go back there for a friends birthday as I had heard good things about it again. And I am pleased to say that the food was brilliant. I had fish for both my starter (smoked fish platter) and main course (sea bass), both delicious and well-presented. Not too much and not too little. Vegetables were plain but nicely cooked and tasty. For desert I went for the sorbet which is most unlike me - but it was one of fruitiest scrummiest sorbets I have ever had.

The service was great. We had a lovely waitress who was attentive but not over the top. The service was a little slow but the food more than made up for it.

This is definitely back as my favourite place to go in Ipswich, after a few years in the doldrums
