London's most exclusive squat - Panta rei...That's more than true. When I was young, squats were completely different unless London's unique and all alternative spaces here always looked like the one in Mayfair ...
We visited the Da! Collective last week. I was one hundred percent sure that much ado about nothing...(as media is not always the best teaser)- anyway, we took a risk and were positively surprised!
To be honest with you- that has been the most extraordinary squat I've ever seen-probably thanks to its splendour. The building is still leased by British Virgin Island and its previous landlords might have looked a little bit different than the present occupants- a group of artist who have been staying in the residence until they are evicted. Meanwhile, they allow us to explore the space- four floors looking like a labyrinth, totally filled with alternative art! If you visit Hyde Park or the US embassy, pop in- it's in a neighbourhood and it's totally for free.
