Pretty Good

4.0 out of 5.0

November 25, 2008

So I got taken for lunch here by a friend and it was pretty good. They have a set lunch deal for £12.50.

The decor is pretty nice and lots of white and because of the windows its super bright in here but too light.

There was something on the menu that I'd never heard of, I asked the waitress what it was and she had to go and find out which I guess is excusable since they've only just opened but I do like the staff to know what's on the menu! Anyway it turned out to be a baked smoked mozzeralla thing so I ordered that and then salmon and spinach for main.

The mozzarella thing was really good - kind of like a cross between smoked applewood and haloumi. The salmon was good but kind of plain.

All in all I guess I'd come back but I'll probably wait a few months for them to iron out some of the creases and finish painting the stairs down to the toilets (which were nice).
