French Brasserie in Spitalfields

My needs are very basic, and as I walked through the cavernous interior of Spitalfields market I noticed they had built a new mezzanine with various new eateries.

Up a flight of stairs was Le Bouchon Breton. It looked good. Like a modern take on a French Brasserie should. All I wanted was a bowl of French Onion Soup and Steak Frites, cooked medium.

And thats precisely what I got. It was good. Very good, but not fantastic.

I noticed they have a excellent wine list, but I just drank Badoit.
