The Adelphi is my favourite pub in the whole world. I'm a student at the local university, and so for me it is awesome. They have a special student discount service called the yellow card, which gets you discount on most of the stuff they sell. The food they provide is of a wide range, with something to suit everyone's taste, and the food is also of an excellent quality. They provide a wide range of draught beers and ciders, and also sell bottled drinks, including wine, champagne and all the spirits you would expect to find in a student bar. They also do coffee, and hot chocolate, for those wanting something warm and cosy. The prices here are already very reasonable without the yellow card but with it you will make the most of your hard earned money. The atmosphere is lovely, they have 2 pool tables, plenty of comfy seats, a jukebox with a varied selection of music, some arcade games and itboxes. The decor is wonderfully unique, and you can't stand anywhere in the pub without a view of a tv, which is great if you enjoy watching sports in a pub.
