Landbaby evolved from my desire to create lasting useful objects of beauty from the mountain of redundant vintage fabrics, garments, linens, haberdashery and assorted treasures that fill my home. With the shifting array of material I produce hand-made bags, and purses, as well as earrings and other accessories. Each is a one-off with its own character and finished with the Landbaby label. If you have a favourite piece of fabric, item of clothing or accessory that you would like reborn into something truly original, it can be arranged! Perhaps a bag and scarf with purse to match made from a favourite old coat, or, a wrap made from the edges of your worn out cashmere blanket embellished with the embroidery from your grandmother’s tablecloth… Mix your ideas with mine to create an unusual and intimate gift, for yourself or someone special.
